CajunRedZone is reporting that JC WR Vernon Wolfe has committed to UL. More details to come later on CajunRedZone.

Anyone have any other info on this kid?

As a freshman at Hinds CC, Vernon had 24 catches for 268 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Vernon prepped at Vicksburg High School and was unsigned as a senior.

Looks like we were the only school that offered.

I am not sure if being a "wife" reciever is a good thing or a bad thing.

Yeah I caught that too....with a name like Wolfe and talking about passes I'm starting to wonder if this guy is playing on a football field or at a nightclub.

Spoke to Vernon and his father last night while he was getting his transcripts together. He had offers from UL, ULM and ASU. He missed some of the season this year, but was still named to the Mississippi JC All-Star Game.
