  1. Default NCAA Baseball Tournament Projections ...

    Folks,

The following are my 2003 NCAA Baseball Regional Projections. New Mexico State snuck in as my last team. Hence, the Aggies are truly a team on the bubble and there is no telling what the NCAA will decide to do. I have the Sun Belt, Southland, and the Atlantic Sun Conferences all getting three teams. The SEC leads the way with seven selections, followed by the ACC and Big XII both with six. My National Seeds changed slightly from earlier Sunday.

Besides Murray State (25-29) I wonder how many bubble busters there are in the tournament?

I would not consider Murray State a bubble buster. The Ohio Valley Conference was only going to get one team in the tournament.

    But to answer your question:
McNeese State, Middle Tennessee State, and Jacksonville are bubble busters. There could be more depending on how the NCAA selections actually go. For example, if Kent State gets an at-large bid, Eastern Michigan becomes a bubble buster. If Southwest Missouri State gets a bid, Wichita State is a bubble buster.

I hadn't looked at it like that. Thanks
