Call me fatter but, while the bacon is cooking in the oven I cook an omlet on the stove and roll the omlet and the cheese with the bacon.

About a month ago, I found a new place, a diner-style joint called The Fat Hen Grill. On their menu I saw something called a "womlette"- an omelette on top of a waffle. As strange as that sounds, it was REALLY good!!!

I know I haven't been there in a while, but when did Judice Inn start putting FRIED EGGS on their burgers!?? There used to be a place downtown off Poydras called Tucker's Tavern. That place served LITERAL heart-attacks on a plate called "deep-fried" hamburgers. At least one variety of those had a fried egg in it!!!

I'm not sure when they started but they are fantastic. I'm sure a Southside Bakery burger would be pretty satisfying with the fried egg on top also!!!!!
