Facebook_users in the UK can now_choose from more than 70 different gender types following an expansion of the extended options outside of the US. The move is being made to “better reflect society”, according to The Independent, and in addition to being able to select a gender beyond simply male or female, users can also now specify which pronoun they’d like used_when referring to_them_on the platform.
