Rondo will be back plus they want to take Jrue off the ball a little more and they've lacked good depth at the PG spot for years. Elfrid will help them as he's better defensively than Rondo and obviously younger so he will eat up a lot of minutes for him.

I admittedly did not watch a lot of Suns or Magic games, but I thought Elfrid was pretty poor on defending the pick and roll when I saw him play.
Hopefully Rondo and Jrue can teach him the finer points of the position. I can’t wait to see him in a Pels uniform.

Because he established himself as a defender (besides passer) his first year in the NBA, when many were touting him for Rookie of The Year.
