Decent game for EP

One against four? No wonder Orlando lost

Elfrid plays an a horrible team. Still not sure if he is a top tier point guard, but he has improved his shooting over the past couple of years. I would not be surprised if the Magic go in a different direction next year and he is playing for someone else. Hopefully he can get on a contender.

The NOLA broadcast team was commenting that his scoring percentage and points have improved but still needs additional improvement to become one of the top point guards in NBA. Haven’t a clue if that’s accurate or not. Guessing it was a casual comment without a lot if analysis. Rondo schooled him a couple of times in the game but he more than held his own in the loss.

Magic lost 3 of their top 6 players to injury earlier in the season. That is why they are struggling. At the beginning of the season, they were doing fine. One thing I noticed against the Pels. One of his free throws hit his hair upon release which I think caused the miss.

Traded for a 2nd round pick which means he was traded for nothing. Surprised that his defense is considered a knock. Would have thought he would be a good nba defender.

I'm happy for him as well but the Suns are about the only team worse.

He's a restricted free agent after the season, meaning the move gives the Suns the right to match any offer sheet he may sign with another team.

Personally, seeing as the Pelicans needed a defense-first guard, I was hoping they'd try and swing Rajon Rondo's expiring contract or a pick to Orlando for Payton. Wasn't to be, I guess. Dell Demps likes to throw any possible assets in a fire before they can do any real good for the team.
