After bringing in more than $1.5 million in revenue in its_first month, Japan-based chat app Line is extending sales of its user-generated stickers initiative –_Creators Market –_out of Asia and into_the US, UK, Brazil and six other countries. The initiative allows independent artists, or indeed anyone, to create animations for sticker packs which, if approved, are sold_across Line’s messaging service_to its_470 million registered users. Creators_keep 50 percent of the proceeds,_the rest goes to the app store gatekeepers — Apple or Google — and Line.
