Their GOOD OLE BOYZ chimed in on a bidding process when their was only minutes left to bid, had NO bid, but stated wanting to bid, after the Lafayette association HAD ALREADY PUT THEIR CARDS ON THE TABLE!!! Their GOOD OLE BOYZ then called and had a rebiding set up for two weeks later changed some rules for qualification and STILL DID NOT WIN!!!!

Guess Shreveports GOOD OLE BOYZ just did NOT have the MONEY to win out like they do NOT have the MONEY to pay out the amounts they say the will pay out, ON TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Some people have forgotten that while this subject can be tremendously unsettling, honestly, it's a just college football game. In my list of priorities, it's just not something worth making threats against other individuals. I hope it's untrue.

*While I agree with Jimmy that's it's not classy to threaten others, I don't think it's the best idea to suggest that everyone in Lafayette shares the same opinion on any particular topic. Tough to hold everyone in a particular area responsible for the poor decisions of a select few. _

If criminal misconduct, in any form of threats, have been made, those simply need to be investigated. It is totally irresponsible to roll up all of these disconnected issues and slam Lafayette and UL. If I were Shreveport and the Indy, I would pipe down and let this thing dye down on its own. I doubt Missy wants to manage the unhappy feelings much longer and just wants to get on with the bowl. I see very little advantage to the Indy or Shreveport in continuing to fan our flames. They got what they wanted, we didn't.

comparing the number of fans of a high school that will travel to North Louisiana to the number of fans from UL that would have traveled to their first D-1 bowl game is laughable. it is even more laughable to think that maybe NIU will provide more fans.

You cannot do it. We are trying to give Arkansas Memphis (a city that uses 40% of all state funding in Tennessee).

How 'bout you give them Shreveport, and we'll send Memphis up the river to Louisiana ?

Speaking of Jimmah Watson, that guy should be fired for that outlandish piece of shoddy journalism. That is an embarrassment to any Gannett-owned paper, I would hope.

This moron is a complete jacka s s and always has been. But LOUISIANA fans, don't fret. No one North OR South of Shreveport gives a dam about Watson's blog, or the team he represents... My first reaction was to get mad, but a level headed individual would realize the alterrior motives behind his comments..

Another thing... When people resort to public attacks, those attacks are rooted in deeper origins.. FEAR! Schools around this state or PETRIFIED of whats brewing down here.. THE University of LOUISIANA is on the brink!
