As we all know, Microsoft has an exclusive partnership with Twitter for integrating tweets inside search results. Today, they announced an improved Twitter experience in Bing search results. Microsoft looks at a number of signals including tweet quality, retweet count, freshness of tweet, user profile info and verified status, among others to display the tweets in search results. New features: In the milliseconds that it takes to type a few letters, Bing automatically showcases the top matching hashtag suggestions._ For instance, if you start typing “#dailysh” in the search box, Bing automatically helps you complete the query. Searching for the hashtag “#dailyshow” then surfaces top results from Twitter in the search results. Bing also helps you find specific Twitter handles. Say you are looking for Ashton Kutcher’s Twitter handle and start typing “@a” in the Search box on Bing.
