Twitter has today announced that it is extending its ‘hashflags’ feature used for the World Cup_for use during Ramadan – the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. For the duration of_Ramadan, beginning this week, if you use a hashtag in front of the word Ramadan or Eid (in English or Arabic) special icons will appear to signify your support for the celebration, as shown_below.
