I am looking forward to the Prophet taring up some safeties and cornerbacks as he scoots towards pay dirt.

That's no fair. I wanted to write that earlier. But how do you hijack a thread from yourself? This site is on the cutting edge of everything.

Why Baylor or LSU over the Cajuns?

You know. I was gonnal leave this alone. But I thought about what you've posted on here trying to discredit my son & I have a question for you Coach Knowitall. If you're an authoritative coach with such knowledge, even though by your argument that all his numbers aren't four star , as you keep going back to his bench press to point out, which must mean all the other numbers are four star or better. If you know so much then why don't you share with us which school you coach at & name all the players you have at your school who can bench press more with free weight than my son.

I'll even go further than that. We'll raise money for charity. You pick your ringer from whatever high school it is where you coach. Just make sure it's a legitimate player at a school where you coach. And I'll take my son & put up 500 dollars for the school's athletic department to see whose kid wins the bench press competition. One catch, you come on here & fess up that you didn't know ____ when Josh wins if you're man enough to take the bet. Because if you're a coach & had to go back to your glory days of playing high school to think of someone you played with to reference someone who could outbench my son. Then you are just stirring ____ to stir it, or you can't name any other players that you've coached who can do it. Which means unlike me, once again you are full of ____. Or better yet. You're probably not a coach at all. Name the school & the players. I'll be waiting for your response.

I didn't want over UL. That wasn't what I was saying. But Baylor & LSU are interested in him. As well as several SBC & CUSA schools. I would much rather send him to Baylor or LSU than I would to a competing SBC or CUSA school. But I am going to send him on a scholarship wherever it is he goes. The bottom line is he doesn't go to UL or anywhere else for free. Why? Because if there is a coaching change all promises from the previous regime are off the table. And I'm not watching my son bust his ___ for two, or three years to get a chance to start only to have another coach come in with his own kids & try to replace him. With a scholarship he has protection. Without he is SOL if there is a coaching change. I have heard rumors. I've gone public for one reason. So that everyone knows I mean business. This just happened to be the perfect time & format. I make it a habbit not to put myself in a position to break my word. My son won't play at UL without a scholarship. If that means he goes to CUSA or a competing SBC school. So be it. But that is NOT what I want.

But come July 17th: The day LSU lineman camp takes place. UL goes from being the way out in front runner & number one choice, to just another candidate for my son's services. That's the difference between friendship & business. You want it to be about business? It's going to be about business. And friendships won't matter anymore. That's the mean side of recruiting that I hate & think was totally avoidable in this situation.

Incorrect. More like all the Snickers commercials together. I know the guy is FOS & I think I know who it is. But he don't know ____, or he would know that the numbers I posted are phenominal for a guy that size. And I'll say this. I thought Jumbocajun was poking a little fun so I didn't want anything to get out of hand. But He was right about my boy being able to do a split. He did one last night in the living room. I also saw him dunk a basketball the other night. I want to know. How many white guys that are beating the door down of three hundred pounds does anybody on this board know who can dunk a basketball? How many white guys does anybody know who can dunk a basketball for that matter?

---Kyle--let this go and go have a great season!!! He has a chance to be a very good player--I am sure things will work out and just pray about where he is suppose to go to school (UL) if they recruit him and if he is interested--I didn't think that I would ever go to USL--never heard of it--and I didn't think my daughter would wind up playing BBALL for Loyola----but this is what the Fall is for --Great luck to him this year!!!

It's all good with me Boomer. I sent you a private message. I understand that any time you put someone under the spotlight of public scrutiny referring to their talent & projecting it to certain levels you are subject to a certain amount of criticism. This board is usually one of the most thorough at fact checking as any to fairly criticize someone. But to say a guy who used to sell prosthetic limbs & wheel chairs, or a guy who sell insurance & runs recruiting sites is more of an expert in talent evaluation than a guy who works in the oilfield is bull ____, I wouldn't put one's eye over the other without checking them out first. And to criticize someone with having ever laid an eye on them without comparing them to the best of the best first hand is bull ____.

There is a camp going on right now at Nicholls State Universtiy. It runs hand in hand with the Manning Passing Academy. I'm sure someone has heard of the Manning Passing Academy. It is the Offensive/Defensive lineman camp. It was the first Offensive /Defensive lineman camp ever started strictly for linemen in this country that I know of. It has 450 of the top offensive & defensive linemen in from Louisiana, Mississippi, & Texas there this weekend through Tuesday. My son is there with the top linemen from John Curtis, Evangel, West Monroe, East St. John, Rummel, Acadiana High, STM, Notre Dame, Jackson Calloway of Mississippi, Etc. Some of the most heavily recruited linemen in the country. Don't take my word for it. Get in your car or truck & drive to the cane field & see for yourself who the top lineman in the top group out of those 450 is. Even if you disagree that he is the absolute best, You have to compare him to one or maybe two others, and by any stretch he's in the top five at worst. These aren't just boys from Vacherie & Donaldsonville although there are some pretty damn good linemen from there. They are men from the top high school state championship contending teams in the state of Lousiana, Mississippi, & Texas. You know who isn't there? Rivals & Scout. Mike Detillier is there. He's been there every year for the past thirty years. Ever wonder why he knows which linemen are the best in the country when they come out of no where? Because he's already seen them.

One of the coaches was telling me about his speed and strength...and the "oh yea" with agility telling me about the splits. Was definitely not poking fun. I'd poke fun at you, but never your kid.
