
The cost of using your phone while abroad is set to fall by up to 50 percent from July 1 as part of the European Commission’s (EC) continued push to cut the cost of mobile roaming within Europe. Following on from last year’s cost-cutting exercise which imposed new limits on operators that_capped_the price of calls, texts and data, the EC has announced that another drop in these caps_will be put into place from July 1.
