To address a few things.

All 11 conference commissioners travel to New York on BCS selection day in part to referee disputes as an executive committee of the BCS and in part because that's where the movers and shakers and TV folks are along with a number of other bowl officials.

Johnny, I know what I was told regarding Tech's threat and the simple fact is I think it was a rank bluff and the pooh-bahs in charge were too unsophisticated to call it because your administration would have no more held firm to the bluster than they would open the doors to all students free of charge to take credit classes.

I don't think Tech wields any mystical power, I think the I-Bowl has a chairman who'd trade a cow for magic beans and then chop down the beanstalk because it blocked his view of the lake.

Isn't that what message boards mostly consist of, rumors and second hand ideas? How am I being irrational? I have an opinion of what happened, I post it on a UL board, and now i've got Johhny La Tech rolling his eyes and being condesending on the reply's to my post, on a UL board.

I have a right to my opinion and again unless you are on the bowl committee or are actually Dooley himself you've got about as many facts as I do. Therefore we are left to our opinions.

*high-five*, Johnny. We DID get what we wanted as fans, you're dang right. We're bowling AND basically at home. You can be jealous all you want, but we had nothing to do with the "snub" of your little 6-6 Sun Belt campaign this year. Face it, we've had several excellent seasons where we got screwed out of a bowl, even at 9 wins. Win 7 and you're in. Maybe we'll get to strap it on against the fleur-de-chili-peppers again soon and show you how a real winning team plays the game. Don't eat too much gumbo this holiday season and stay classy, Lafayette.

Certainly MUCH classier then Tech fans who feel in necessary to come to UL message boards for the sole purpose of rubbing salt in other people's wounds. Humility I assume, is something you no not have. I wonder....will you be back after you lose?
