I really like that he is from a big time program in A&M. Hopefully he will bring in big time ideas from A&M and Houston. This has got me very excited and is certainly another step in the right direction.

I'm more excited in his role with Houston than A&M. It's not easy, but not extremely difficult to do good things with money like A&M.

You are correct it may be easier but the fact that he has been with a big time school excites me becuase he is very familiar with BIG TIME marketing ideas. He's worked with some of the best in college athletics and he will bring those ideas and experiences to Louisiana.

This is true. Some guys don't know how to work with limited resources after being at a big time school. His Houston work leads me to believe he's not one of those guys.

Seems like a good guy, hope he does well at UL. But I'm curious as why you believe this to be a big deal? He was hired to replace Ken Winstead, who has been gone for some time now. Ken, had a great resume and proven background in fundraising, much more experienced in comparison to Stewart. I'm just curious because we found a young man that is willing to take the position, but with far less of a resume.

TAMU is not in the Big XII, and Houston has long since been out of SWC. No doubt he is not the line to the Big XII.
