How does this affect the Bowls?
Hmm just wondering, because some of the techsters were saying Tulsa to the Indy now.
I think they're in for a shock

Don't see how that would even be possible. CUSA has 6 bowl tie-ins and 6 eligible teams. Wouldn't CUSA will be in the same situation as the Belt in regards to sending a 6-6 team to a primary bowl to replace Tulsa.
USM to New Orleans
Rice to Texas
ECU to Liberty (as CUSA champ and assuming ECU doesn't turn it down)
GMAC, Armed Forces, and St. Pete haven't made their selections.
Memphis (6-6), Houston (7-5), and Tulsa (10-3) still need to be placed in bowls. It's been hinted at that Memphis will go to St. Pete. Likely for Houston to go to Armed Forces (in Fort Worth) and Tulsa to GMAC (as CUSA #2).
And you would actually believe the Techsters???
It's not about who we want, it's about who is a possibility. I-Bowl has had meetings with Banowski and some possibilities are being discussed. Had Tulsa won, they would've been in the Liberty bowl. Now they "fall" to GMAC. Only thing is, they were there last season and didn't bring anybody. St. Pete is still open to a trade (for Memphis) and now GMAC is more open for a trade than they would've been had ECU lost.
Nothing is "done" yet, but CUSA to Indy possibilities are expanding. It used to be Memphis only. Now Tulsa is a possibility.
