I've told you guys repeatedly today. You need Notre Dame in Hawaii. PJ isn't in play for you under any circumstance nor is Indy.

I can agree with you on PJ, but saying we have no chance at the Indy Bowl is absurd. They know we will bring 20-25k plus we will have people staying at the hotel and casinos the night before. As for tv ratings, it is the only bowl for the day. Any ordinary college football fan is going to watch it regardless.

I understand your point. At the same time, I have to disagree with the Indy Bowl thing.

Just curious, what makes you think UL will bring 20 - 25K fans? We only average 21K a game. 10K might be a more realistic number. Houston has over 5,000 alums and we would likely have higher attendance there than in Shreveport.

OK, I exaggerated a little bit. But I will say we bring at least 12k. First bowl game in 38 years, against TECH, pretty well known bowl. Now, I wouldn't mind Texas either just because like you saidthe alumni base is strong and it's a quick drive from Lafayette. Wither one is fine with me just as long as we are playing.
