Lots of market based talk on here lately about Hud needing to be paid a million and now baseball coaches should get more money. So you guys do understand. This is amateur sports, but it is big business. Some people on here just play the purist and amateur card when they want someone to sell them valuable tickets for a lot less than they are worth!

Some baseball coach salary random thoughts: Mark Calvi was reportedly hired by USA at $125,000 in 2010. Bobby Pierce got a new contract last year reportedly making him the highest paid SBC head coach. Don't know how much. Wichita State hired a new coach last year with a $300,000 salary. Mainieri reportedly makes $750,000. the lowest paid SEC coach makes $238,000 plus, plus, plus.
