This whole expert thing...is tired. No one has stood up and said they are experts like you and Mr. Peppa Pit have said. I really don't remember hearing anyone else other than you and Mr. Soccer Snob stand up and say they were soccer experts. Let's be honest...ESPN didn't come find you to cover the World Cup. You may know more than others about soccer...but you are no expert.
We are all casual observers. I watch soccer...I play soccer video games. I know a little bit...but not a lot. I didn't grow up with it like football and baseball. I don't know the intricacies of the game itself. I only know what I see. I watched all 90 minutes of both games the USA has played. To me the change is not with talent...we are still dredging the bottom of the barrel talent wise...to me we have a very smart coach that can get the most out of what we have. Klinsman seems to know how to use what we have and make us very competitive. We haven't found all this talent that all of the sudden make us competitive...so it really must be coaching. We still make idiotic mistakes...but some of the things they are able to do is impressive. It's a mixed bag...and you don't have to be a self professed soccer guru to know that.

Just gonna leave this here for our "soccer experts" to analyze and interpret.

Here's what Cajunhawk has given us so far:
We were 10x more athletic than Portugal and outplayed them for 93 out of 95 minutes. Too bad we can't hang with any of these teams in our group though because Ghana had more possession.Germany will go through us like a hot knife through butter. They have one of the better rosters filled to the brim with International experience at the highest level. Let's be honest...the US team has one of the weakest skill sets in the tournament. It's painfully obvious to anyone who has been watching soccer for an extended period of time. We don't have the caliber of athlete that Germany and Portugal possess...and the athletes we do have do not possess adequate International experience or even Club level experience.
World class? He shuffled the ball to the left for an open shot.
I wonder if he'll admit that this was also World Class
Any soccer analyst worth his salt is saying that Bradley gave the ball away poorly but we still had plenty of numbers back and were in a great position to defend their counter attack. Ronaldo sent in the perfect ball and none of our 3 center backs reacted to it. You can also blame Jurgen for pulling off a midfielder, someone for Bradley to pass the ball to, to put in a center back who's known for bad positioning and awareness. But you wouldn't know anything about that because you react in the moment then stay true to your dumbass opinions no matter how wrong you are.
Stop it. The goal was not because Michael Bradley lost the ball. It wasn't a complicated play. Defenders needed to defend.

Michael Bradley was back on song tonight. Very influential. Yes he lost possession on equaliser - but still time for defence to deal with it

Back 4. RT @Richard_C_Arce More to blame on tying goal? Bradley or the back four? #AskAlexi

Not protecting anyone including Bradley but truth is #USA had good shape to deal with cross and and runners. pic.twitter.com/Mv1ZpiT2eP

For the record: Bradley lost possession 65/70 yards from goal. Is it bad? Yes but not like the team didn't have numbers back. #USA
