Is that how the sport is played everywhere or just the world cup?!?!

They look kind of like little girls turning to the ref and begging after every play.
Yep. They remind me of NFL, NBA, and NCAA football and basketball players. Could probably throw baseball in there too. He missed the tag! 😉

I won't speak for everyone, but there is a huge difference between what goes on in soccer and what happens in the other American sports. There is a reason soccer as a whole is known for flopping whereas Vlade Divac was known individually for flopping.

Australia almost 6-1 odds to beat Spain. Buying that ALL DAY. Spain is absolutely done, they have zero enthusiasm to win and Australia has looked fantastic and would love to send Spain out with a bang

Is there a spread in soccer or is set up like baseball?

Ok futbol fans, I watched Uruguay/England delayed on DVR from Univision. Uruguay's second goal, was he offsides? I ran it back and forth and he never seemed onside. Don't care who won, just wondering if anyone saw that or watched on ESPN.

Looks like Gerrard headed it backwards which would negate the offside.

Found the discussion on line. According to a FIFA amendment to the laws of the game he was off. Good explination in second link. I understand it correctly, even though Gerrard headed it, being it was a challenged ball made o/s the call missed? I picked Holland from the start, so this one doesn't matter...lol.

I think Johannson is going to prove you and many others wrong my good man.

Music to my ears. I hope you're right. Brooks sure proved me wrong Monday.
