Spanish commentators make the game so much more exciting.

Agreed. I usually catch the Univision broadcast when it's available.

Surprised this thread hasn't gotten any action since that Ivory Coast-Japan match. Was watching while at dinner, Japan up 1-0 constantly pressuring the Ivory Coast D, I get up to go pee and Ivory Coast is up 2-1. Was it a goal at 64 min and 66 min? Crazy stuff right there.

I'm not exactly sure, but they were very quick. Back to back.

Really hope we pull out a win vs. Ghana today. I don't see how we survive this group without a win today.

4-0 Germany.... All Portugal needs is a Hail Mary and BOOM! They pull ahead...wait wrong futball. Another reason soccer will never be a major pro sport. We have to wait now 40:00 minutes are so until this debacle is over.

I know I say it every 4 years, but Vlade Divac would be embarrassed of some of these flops....

We jumped and hit elbows. Somehow that broke my nose....

Can we have a separate WC thread for people who just want to complain about the World Cup?

Anyway, Germany's dominating win over Portugal, and Portugal losing 2 starters, is about as good of a result as we could have hoped for. But all that means nothing if we don't beat Ghana tonight. Huge game this evening!!!

Sorry for complaining. I agree with your assessment of this shaping up good for the USA. Let's take care of business!
