We owe them for the last two times they flopped their way to victory against us.

4-0 Germany.... All Portugal needs is a Hail Mary and BOOM! They pull ahead...wait wrong futball. Another reason soccer will never be a major pro sport. We have to wait now 40:00 minutes are so until this debacle is over.

I know I say it every 4 years, but Vlade Divac would be embarrassed of some of these flops....

We jumped and hit elbows. Somehow that broke my nose....

Can we have a separate WC thread for people who just want to complain about the World Cup?

Anyway, Germany's dominating win over Portugal, and Portugal losing 2 starters, is about as good of a result as we could have hoped for. But all that means nothing if we don't beat Ghana tonight. Huge game this evening!!!

Sorry for complaining. I agree with your assessment of this shaping up good for the USA. Let's take care of business!

Very early goal. The good guys are up 1-0

Sweet. Having trouble sustaining control of the ball, though.

Dempsey came out and figuratively kicked them in the teeth early and then they literally returned the favor
