The best part about soccer...no god damn commercials every 5 seconds like Football. It's 45+ minutes of action...one short break...and 45+ more minutes of action.

Maybe that's why there isn't much televised soccer, and a lack of interest here in the States.

But I agree, it's nice to watch a sporting event without being told what car to buy, what beer to drink, what male enhancement pill to take, or what brokerage firm to use every 5 minutes.

It's one of the few sports left that doesn't _____ itself out. But then again, the premier league uniforms are a walking billboard...

It's not so bad. Just one sponsor on the uniforms. Billboards are found in the Mexican league where they have like 6 sponsors shoved onto one uniform.

I think this injury is worse than people are letting on. I don't think you will see Altidore back at all to be honest. IMO, it would be better to bring on a Donovan or Eddie Johnson now and give them time to get fit to play as I don't think we can rely on Johannson in that role
