_ In the sake of fairness it should be pointed out that those were pretty much the first words out of coach Bustle's mouth yesterday at the press conference...that we could have ended the discussion by winning seven games and didn't get it done. _

Coach Bustle comment on the subject out of the Advocate:

“There’s no question that we needed to take care of business, get that seventh win and not leave it in somebody else’s hands. We can make all the excuses we want, but if we win another game we’re not in this situation.”

Sounds like the man has a pair to me.

One thing that I was thinking about this morning was this. How often in sports does all of the people you need to win to help your team actually win. I mean we had Rutgers, Arizona, and Troy all win. We were golden! that never happens. Anytime you need help from others there is always one team or game that doesn't fall in your favor.

Yeah, that was beautiful the way things lined up just like we needed. Sucked to have it all go for naught. Hated to see all of that mojo used up. It certainly won't be there for the next time we need it.
