it seems as if it is a forgone conclusion on the board that if Notre Dame doesn't go to the Sun Bowl then they will stay home. Over here on the Houston radio, it seems that it is actually a forgone conclusion that Notre Dame will be in the Texas Bowl. The Cajuns have never been mentioned, and all of this comes from the President of the Texas Bowl. So I don't know what that means for the Cajuns bowl chances.
Troublemaker! LOL
Best post of the thread so far:
They have a very mobile running QB that rushed for over 1000 yards. Utah St or Nevada anyone??????????????????????
honorable mention:
Just the generation of posts to a thread created 15 minutes ago tells me this would be one hell of a game.
Hahah! I like how they want a "national" TV audience. The ONLY people who watch bowl games outside of the post-New Years bowls are:
- Fans of the teams in the games
- Degenerate gamblers
- People who would watch football no matter who is playing
To think otherwise is awfully high and mighty.
Further, anyone not playing at or above the level of a Fresno State is considered lower tier 1A. That includes most MAC, CUSA, WAC, and Sun Belt teams. To think that playing Sun Belt teams "lowers their standards" is laughable, because the national awareness of LA Tech is much lower than a Ball State, and probably on the same level as Troy.
