I think this is explained in another post. If Rutgers and Arizona State would have won that would be two more teams we'd have to contend with. _

Simply put, if Zona State wins, Zona goes to the Hawaii bowl, creating a trickle down effect. Zona would mean that Hawaii is not in play for western Michigan or ND, meaning a greater likelihood that they go to one of the game we want to play in.

That was Louisville, not Rutgers. Rutgers clobbered U of L.

We are losing only 13 seniors. We are losing one of the smallest senior classes in the nation. But we are losing very important seniors at key positions.

Of the 13 about 8 are big to medium losses: Dez, Fenroy, Chery and then Keyes, Jones, Edmiston, Coleman, and DBs Scooter and Justin counted as 1.

Additionally, we lose Vance, Smith, Rubin and Roberson.
