The middle of the stadium during the punts looked pretty sad.

Don't be naive. And don't confuse reclusiveness with passivity, ignorance or a lack of courage.

There are people in this town that you wouldn't want to tangle with because of their money or their clout, and mano a mano, there are others you don't want to fight because of their size, speed, or skills.

Trust me: you do NOT want to match political wits with David Walker. He is one of the fastest thinkers and meanest hard-ballers you'll ever run across. There was a reason that he dealt with the NCAA when UL had problems. He even got the NCAA to back down from time to time.

And you don't want to burn him. Oh, you'll occasionally succeed.

Exactly one time. He won't say a word. But after that, he will study you, your co-conspirators, the rules of the game, and everything about what happened. The next time it comes up, you'll get a butt-whoopin' like you've never seen.

My ancestors supposedly said that "Revenge is a dish best served cold." Well, David Walker is the master of vichyssois. The Indy Bowl & Tech burned him once. Let's hope they enjoyed it.

    A whole lot...

I think the I bowl has accepted their fate and thrown a last jab at lafayette as ____ed off as they were about the Top 28 debacle. So good riddance to bad rubbish. LA Tech rednecks will have to put on their traveling shoes to go to a bowl game anytime soon as no one likes their little cry baby, better than you antics. That and they are in a dry county. What a sucky life. To be a La Tech redneck is the equivalent of being a follower of some rediculous doomsday cult. Everyone makes fun of you, and you think your doing god's work. So sad. Geaxu Cajuns, FLSU, and last one out of the I bowl turn out the lights! _

Where do you live? Any self-respecting cajun knows that in Louisiana, we have Parishes!

Lincoln Parish isn't dry and hasn't been for a looooong time. Ruston isn't dry either. I think somebody is living in the past.

You have got to be kidding me with this garbage.

Please do tell what the master mind David Walker has up his sleeve now, or can you not say because the mere thought of what he has planned will cause you to go into a comma.

    Give me a freakin break.

Doh! You're absolutely right. I've spent the past 30 years watching this University and learning who the players are, and how they got there.

    But what do I know?

I'm just a low-life liar, and you're the Second Coming.

The New Orleans Bowl and the Detroit Bowl were far better games especially the NO game. They just were no matter what the grapes taste like.

big attraction prior to the game is red beans & rice and Jambalaya tailgating. Hmmmm, aren't those authenic CAJUN menu items? I suppose they'll be serving BEER instead of ICED TEA as well. COPY CATS! _
I thought they were proud of their signature north Louisiana cuisine...meat pies! Guess the S'port Chamber of Commerce didn't think that meat pies would draw the Chicago area market.
