Thread: Lady Cajuns seek win No. 1 this afternoon

  1. UL Basketball Lady Cajuns seek win No. 1 this afternoon

Before the men play, the women from UL (0-6) and McNeese State (2-5) open tonight's doubleheader at 5.

The Cajuns have lost seven in a row dating back to last season. Alexis Green, a junior transfer from Blinn Junior College in Texas, leads the team in scoring at 14.3 points per game and is tied for first in rebounds per game (5.5).

McNeese State (2-5) is led by freshmen guards Ashlyn and Caitlyn Baggett, both of whom played at Iota. Ashlyn is second on the team at 11.4 points per game. Caitlyn is third at 10.9 points per game.

UL Basketball Re: Lady Cajuns seek win No. 1 this afternoon

The Cowgirls will be 3-5 after this afternoon. The embarassment of having the worst coach in D1 basketball continues for the Cajuns. Maybe we'll get lucky and win one or two this year, if the other team fails to show up at all or shows up with a flu epidemic.
