Glad to have him choose the Cajuns even though it sounds kinda like we are the last available girl to take to the dance.
He is a great kid, hard nosed athlete, with plenty of skill. My son plays for TCH also and I was able to watch Andrew the past two seasons. Comes from a Cajun family and a very good family.
Best of Luck Andrew
Cajuns got a very good one!![]()
Throughout his football career at Teurlings Catholic, Andrew Hebert played all over the field. Now he's set to become the third member of his family to play at UL.
Where exactly he will be playing, though, is still up for debate.
Hebert, whose father Jay and uncle Jed played at TCHS and for the Cajuns from 1983-86, publicly committed on Monday to sign with the Cajuns as an athlete. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder told UL coaches of his decision on Sunday but waited one day before making a public announcement.
