Maybe it is just me but why tell a kid where he has to play before he even gets to school????? Like the kid from McD 35(White) was offered as an off lineman --what if he wants to play def and this is a reason for going to another school???????? Let him try where he wants and then he will get the picture as to whether he is playing or not!!!

I think he'll play WR, but he also played RB in highschool a-la Jason Cherry. That's why he's offered as an Athlete - there is no position "athlete" on the team.

UL Football TCH's Andrew Hebert commits to Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns

Andrew Hebert commited to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns this weekend. I've watched him play for 4 years and he always impressed me... no matter which position TCH played him at. I also know that he attended several camps across the country and received interest from several high profile schools.

Questions: How good is he? Where is he projected to play? Who else would have wanted to have him?

If he is the son of Jay Hebert, he's from a heavy duty gene pool.......

Also Walker from Mamou. In addition, we have offered 7 other kids from Louisiana. Only 5 offers have gone to out-of-staters. Of course that assumes that all offers are accepted. If any of these guys turn down our offer for another school, we'll have to see where we go after that.

I spoke to his dad a couple days ago at work so I knew that this announcement would be made soon. Glad to hear he is a Cajun!
