Microsoft announced in April that they have ended the custom domain support for Outlook.com. Custom domain support was one of the coolest feature that differentiated Outlook.com/Hotmail from Gmail in the recent years. Microsoft posted on Windows Live Admin Center homepage that Outlook.com no longer offers support for new custom domain sign ups and new customers looking to manage custom domains are encouraged to use Office 365. Microsoft yesterday sent out e-mail to existing Outlook.com custom domain users that as of 31 July 2014, you will no longer be able to add or remove accounts in your domain. They are also offering complimentary 90-day subscription to Office 365 Small Business Premium for 5 users if you sign up before 15 July 2014.
