As far as the scoreboards... according to my Georgia Southern contact, their's will require six computers to operate it. Since your's is nearly twice the size, I imagine it'll be between 6-8 computers.

That being said, they're all designed to work together as a collective unit, while still serving up different stuff at different intervals. Typically you'll want 1-3 people working together on this.
If Ga State needs 6 computers, the average person should be ok with 1-2!

Is there a bigger crock of _____ in the SBC this year than RJ Hunter winning athlete of the year. I think he is a phenomenal player. But the award should have gone to EP or Jace Conrad, bottom line.

I hope you mean EP was miles and miles ahead of RJ Hunter because Jace outdid both of them on the national stage.

I did say Georgia Southern, not Georgia State (I had to make sure I indicated GS and not GSU). Georgia Dome's system probably needs a few more than that, due to its sheer size.

Apologies for the confusion. I was referring to Twitter.

I tweeted the joke, even indicated that it was from a GSU fan site... tagged both Coach Hunter and Coach Marlin on it.

Hunter thought it was hilarious (as did I. I asked him about it), Marlin blocked me for it. C'est la vie.
That is pretty funny. But everyone knows that Ron and EP should have been co-player of the year. Not Ron and Ron-I can't play defense-Junior. Prolly what marlin was mad about.

True, and Louisiana Baseball was #1 in the country in part due to Jace. Now on the other hand EP was drafted higher than any of the 3, and was the Defensive player of the year(nationally) and won the NBA Summer League MVP! Top that RJ Hunter and SBC and Coach Daddy!

Getting drafted high is a combination of career achievement and pro potential. Would you give player of the year to a high draft pick over a freshman who hit .750 with 30hr 80rbi no errors and played on the national championship team? Jace was first team all American. EP was not. Jace led his team deep into the postseason. EP did not. Jace led his team to a unanimous #1 ranking. EP did not. I am not taking anything away from EP. He is a phenomenal player and may end up being the most successful pro to ever come out of UL but for player of the YEAR consideration, jace wins. No contest.

All good points. Would baseball have been really good without Jace this season? Where would basketball have been without EP? We were extremely lucky to have these two kids in our program.

i didnt realize jace was a freshman who hit .750. (you cant make up outlandish stats to prove a point)
it can also be said that jace had a lot better supporting cast all around him than EP. i would have been okay with either of them getting it, but to say that its no contest is ridiculous.

In my opinion EP was the most "valuable" and important player for his team. Jace was outstanding but you can make an argument for others on the baseball team as well. He was playing with some outstanding baseball players.

If I had to pick a player of the year or MVP for Sunbelt my vote would go to EP.
