most wonderful thing happens every Saturday morning at 7 a.m. People all over the world are listening to zydeco music on UL's KRVS 88.7 FM radio station via the Internet.

Both the East and West Coasts are getting in on the action. People in Australia are getting up in the middle of the night. Zydeco est pas sale!

Public radio stations such as KRVS develop programming that reflects the culture of their locales and projects the same to their listeners. This is a tremendous public service and is a local effort to preserve our Cajun and Creole heritages.

I have dealt with KRVS in the past (advertisements) and Dave S and krewe are excellent people.

KRVS is one of the few remaining good radio stations in the state. imho.
