Through the first three games of the college basketball season, few things bothered UL coach Robert Lee as much as the play of his point guards.
The Cajuns (1-3) opened this season with three consecutive losses as returning starter Randell Daigle (broken right hand) has been out since the preseason due to injury.
Junior transfer Ryan McCoy started the first two games before junior Willie Lago got the start in Saturday's 71-41 loss to Utah Valley.
In three losses, McCoy and Lago had combined for 20 points, nine assists and 11 turnovers.
Then something clicked in Tuesday's 79-75 overtime win over Oral Roberts.
