That's unfortunate. I get excited when I hear about the Tigue remodeling.

Does anybody out there know exactly what is scheduled to be done to Lamson Field?

Also, does anybody have any idea how this will effect season ticket prices. I have a box and I assume that what I pay for season tickets will go up, maybe even substantially. _
Not sure on all the particulars, but it will be a regional/super-regional type facility. GH said softball along with the track additions will have to start in JUly or August '09 in order for the facilities to be completed prior to their seasons, esp. Softball.

Nope. It's those facilities that need upgrading to stay competitive. Seating at Lamson really needs improving. You and Luke should come over for more than 5 minutes next time. Our most successful program deserves much better than that to compete on a national level.

The facilities at the Lancon track are terrible. No dressing rooms, cramped coaches offices, etc. No renovations (beside laying a new track) have been done since the facility was built in the early 70's. We must remember that this facility has to support 7 of our sports.

He is the Associate Athletic Director. Give him a call and schedule a meeting to make a commitment to the program.

I was told when I met with Mr. Farmer that it would be 2 weeks after the announcement of the RCAF. Those 2 weeks have come and gone.

I agree with your saying of the facilities needed and the condition---BUT---5 of the sports that use the 2 facilities are women sports--softball, soccer, women's indoor and outdoor track, and women's cross country
