Women searching for a winning Lineup

  After opening the season with three losses by an average of almost 16 points, the UL women's basketball team made a change to its starting lineup on Sunday against Centenary.

It nearly resulted in the first win of the season for the Cajuns in a 75-69 overtime loss.

UL (0-4) sat senior guard Whitney Dunlap and freshman forward Mercedes Johnson against Centenary, starting freshmen Becky Hall and Michelle Brunker in a four-guard lineup that included sophomore guards Jasmine Barnes and D'Mya Clay and junior forward Alexis Green.

What they need to be searching for is a coach with more than three years of collegiate assistant coaching experience. Errol Rodgers is certainly a nice person=== but they did a disservice by thrusting him into a DIV I scenario before being ready. The Daniels crew is being shown up one more time.

I agree Rodgers is not the man for the job. It's hard to watch him force his " New Motion Offense " in our half court set for the second straight year, and watch it not work again. Let me see 0 and 4 , maybe we should try running a " New Play " instead of swapping players all around. Find something that works instead of forcing the play that doesn't.
