Emmanuel Adeife-IMO he should be the starting Center. Move Barr down to the 4 and that should get rid of our rebounding problems. He's the same height as Batiste but a more polished player

Lamar Roberson- Just think of Tyren Johnson with an outside shot like Travis. He has the tools to be a great player and playing in the sunbelt will help his game out.

These to should get some major pt whenever the general shortens the rotation.

I generally agree with your assessment. Barr is too slow to play the four spot though. I think he and Adeife will rotate with Adeife getting 25 minutes and Barr 15. Roberson will play more than sit and I am not sure whose minutes he will take. LaRyan Gary has to produce more or he will be the one not playing as much.

I couldn't let this post get by without agreeing with you.

I know this probably won't happen but is Roberson good enough to where if Grandnigo's problems linger on a little longer Redshirting Gradnigo could be a consideration?

No offense, but Barr is NOT a 4 at this level. To be a productive power forward, you have to be able to have a slight bit of range on your jumper because you are not posting on the block nearly as much as the 5 is. In zone sets, the 4 typically will play at the free throw line on the high-low set which also makes him have to be able to pass to the wings, hit the 15 foot shot and crash the offensive glass when a shot goes up. All of this takes a level of mobility that Barr doesn't have.

However, Barr does have some nice post moves, a wide body allowing him to receive the ball and he shoots the free throw quite well for his size.

Adeife is a rangy guy that I think would flourish more moving around and creating problems with his athleticism and length. He is more of the mold of a Tyrus Thomas because of this lack of range but he is good on the glass and has the range to guard the 4 or 5 out of the lane.

Daigle may be short for a SG but that wouldn't really matter on this level as much IMO. Why? Because even in a man-to-man set, the opponents probably wouldn't have a guard that much bigger than him in the first place and second, you don't see many collegiate teams isolate a guard on the block to work there. The only team I've seen do this in the past couple of years is Gonzaga with Pargo who is very physical and has good inside moves. I think that Daigle would flourish at the 2 allowing McCoy to draw defenders into the lane for Daigle to shoot the 3.

Interesting question. Gradnigo was reported to not be back until mid December when the transfers will be eligible assuming their grades are in order. It is an interesting situation. However, you would still have him for half of December and all of conference so I doubt that the coaches would do that. Let's not forget that Roberson was injured as well and last I saw him, was still hobbling a good bit so I'm not even sure that he'd be available when he is eligible.
