UL's baseball program recently added six signees to its Class of 2009 recruiting class during the NCAA's early signing period.

Acadiana High right-hander Colton Daigle was the only local signee. The Cajuns got another high school pitcher in Chase Traffica, a right-hander from Oak Mountain High in Birmingham, Ala.

UL dipped into the junior college ranks for its other four recruits. McLennan Junior College's Joey Satriano and Ryland Parker of Angelina Community College are both right-handers from Texas. T.J. Geith is a left-hander from Scottsdale Community College in Arizona, while Kevin Lovelace is a shortstop from Central Arizona Community College.
