    At Computex, Darfon_has revealed a new Maglev Keyboard_which is super thin and uses technology different from what we have. Instead of the rubber providing the cushion, the Darfon keyboard uses the_magnetism. Since it doesn’t use_any traditional parts like rubber caps, it is possible to have a super thin keyboards._Also, users will be_able to tweak the resistance electronically, so the keys will have various degrees of pressure depending on the preferences of their customers. Darfon has confirmed that_that we will see notebooks with its technology some time in the second half of the year. Compared to a scissor switch-based keyboard’s 10 million stroke product life, Darfon said its maglev keyboard is able to endure up to 15 million strokes. The maglev keyboard is ready to enter mass production and has received orders from several notebook vendors. The keyboard is expected to start appearing in high-end notebooks by the end of 2014 or the first quarter of 2015. Darfon will also release external keyboards using the technology for tablets before the end...
