Temporary seating? why not?

Why don't they put temporary bleachers in the outfield like Lamson Park, i know their outfield seating is permanent, so that more people can attend this weekends Super Regionals against Ole Miss. Is there not enough room because of the pine tress?

It would definitely be to our advantage to have more Ragin Cajun fans at the games. When I was going to Grad School at Ole Miss the outfield was the most popular places to sit.

All I can see is that the pine trees are in the way. It would be nice when they renovate The Tigue if they could figure out how to add outfield seating.

Fire marshal said no, you have to have an approved evacuation plan in place and there is not time to review it.

No time to review it......that's about right.

Way to be reactive.....there should be an approved plan in place for all sports to provide additional seating if necessary.

Thanks. I agree about being proactiive, it seems like we had plenty of time to prepare since the odds of us hosting at least a regional was definite. It wouldl be nice to have our fans screaming out there and fighting for our home run balls.
