It's time for Ragin' Cajuns to remember all the dumb things each one of us has said in our lifetimes and extend this dude a little mery.

Unless we are, indeed, the worst fans in America.

    I don't believe we are.

    Onward. Beat Ole Miss.
Kinda like how he had already made up his mind about Lafayette before he ever stepped foot in our beloved city. Sorry dude. He can take his review of Lafayette and stay in Starkville.

His rant on Lafayette is about the same as someone going to review a restaurant, eating 1 side dish, and then writing a whole review about how sh-tty the restaurant is. Give me a break, for all of the bad publicity that he has now spread about our town, it is unforgiveable. His little article that he wrote, informing Ole Miss fans not to even come to Lafayette does not help our tourism. I guarantee you he probably deflected more than a couple of people wanting to initially come. But because of him, they will never come to Lafayette.

Side note: Jllanclos, I'm not directing that at you haha. Just using your quote to back up my theory that he had already made up his mind before stepping foot here.

I like you. And yes, we have business to handle this weekend.

A true apology would've been releasing a print article right after his radio comments to resend what he said. Not being invited on to a radio show in Lafayette and accepting then telling us what we want to hear.

And I'm not even cold hearted, I just really think this guys is a f-cking douche and doesn't deserve our sympathy.
Next time you say something really dumb, that hurts somebody, and they won't extend you mercy... remember this day.

PS. Nothing personal. You're a good Ragin' Cajun. I just think it's important to look in the mirror before we refuse to accept a dude's sincere apology. My life is filled with dumb ____ I've done. I'm glad some people cut this dumb ___ some slack along the way. Let's do the same for others. That's all I'm saying. Didn't mean to say it so harshly. See? Dumb ____ I say. Told you.

The guy is a 29 year old that made a mistake. How many people we know...and many of them we see on TV daily...make mistakes and NEVER admit to them, much less come on live radio to apologize.

I give the young man a break.

    Umm ok mr. perfect.

The point is, he didn't just talk about it on his radio show and have a minor lapse in judgement. He then went on to write a freaking article about it.

Like I said, If he's really sorry about it, he would immediately re-write his article and/or delete the old one. It's just that simple.
