He came on and apologized (whether he went on the show on his own accord or was told to in order to keep his job). That counts for something, but the guy is simply doing damage control for self preservation. He sounds like a kid talking to the principle.

I like that Jay offered to entertain the guy on his own $. I really hope he takes him up on it.
