Olde Tyme for lunch would be my choice
Venture down to Shucks in Abbeville for seafood.
Marcello's on Kaliste Salloom for authentic Sicilian
Charlie G's or Ruffino's for upscale dining.
Forgot to mention it before, 1 thing you must do when you're in Lafayette is go through a drive through daiquiri. Yes, you read that right, you can drive through some places, get liquor, and drive off, just do not puncture the lid with your straw until you get back to your hotel. Even if you don't like daiquiris, it always shocks people who are visiting Lafayette when I tell them that is actually allowed.
www.eatlafayette.com This should be a one stop site for a whole bunch of good Lafayette area restaurants, Louisiana and The Ragin Cajun Nation are NOT responsible for YOUR WEIGHT GAIN, while Ole Miss is down here in Lafayette to play UL in the Super Regional!!!!
www.EatAcadiana.net if you want to cook something yourself.
Don's Seafood Hut, try blackened grilled alligator.
Scratch Lagneaux's "King of Seafood" from the list...
