    Venture down to Shucks in Abbeville for seafood.

    Marcello's on Kaliste Salloom for authentic Sicilian

    Charlie G's or Ruffino's for upscale dining.

    Forgot to mention it before, 1 thing you must do when you're in Lafayette is go through a drive through daiquiri. Yes, you read that right, you can drive through some places, get liquor, and drive off, just do not puncture the lid with your straw until you get back to your hotel. Even if you don't like daiquiris, it always shocks people who are visiting Lafayette when I tell them that is actually allowed.
