US carrier T-Mobile has confirmed that you will be able to make WiFi phone calls from your iPhone after Apple releases iOS 8 this Fall. Apple announced iOS 8 at the kick-off of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday. The company included WiFi calling on a list of minor new features for the next major version of iOS. We’ve reached out to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon to learn if they’re also planning to support Wi-Fi calls on the iPhone. Sprint announced WiFi calling support for a set of Samsung Galaxy smartphones earlier this year.
