Samsung Galaxy Tab S: Features
Samsung's Galaxy Tab S is expected to come in two sizes, the first with a screen that measures 8.5in diagonally, and the second with a 10.5in screen. Both will have high-resolution Super AMOLED displays, according to reports.
The current rumours about the resolution of the 10.5in model suggest that it will have a 2560 x 1600 resolution, which is 287 ppi. It's also closely matched with the Samsung Galaxy TabPro 10.1, which sports the same resolution.
Borrowing some features from its smartphone sibling, the Galaxy Tab S models are rumoured to have the fingerprint sensors introduced with the Galaxy S5 in February. The Ultra Power Saving Mode is also expected to come to the Galaxy Tab S, so this feature could aid battery life.
The processor of the new tablets is expected to be an Exynos 5 Octa processor. It'll boast 3GB RAM, an IR sensor, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.4 KitKat.
