Lafayette Regional G5: Louisiana vs. Jackson State

What we would like is to have the football teams face each other. A home/away would be good for both I think. We play a SEC team, ya'll play a top non BCS program.
Better ya'll play us instead of:
08/30 - Southern Miss
09/06 - UAB
09/13- at South Alabama
11/08 - UT Martin

Maybe you missed the fact that we play Alabama, LSU, Auburn, TAMU, and Ole Miss all of which would beat ULL.

Actually, I would. Louisiana is moving up in football, granted, from a very low position, but moving up. State's is not and will not. Especially with expansion, there is little to doubt that the BEST State can aspire to is middle of the pack in the Western Division. It will consistently be behind AL, LSU, aTm, Auburn, perhaps AR, and likely Ol' Miss. I mean no flame, but you simply don't have the financial resources to consistently beat the first four teams, and likely not the last two. Don't know how far the Cajuns can go, but at least we have a ride to enjoy.
