I would not say flat out beat us, it was 1-0. We pitched toe to toe with them and out hit them.
All we needed was one clutch hit and we didn't get it with those 12 men left on base.
All year long we got those clutch hits. This reminded me of the New Orleans game.

I really think that it was over when Trahan gambled and got out. Next batter up gets a hit.

They beat us and that's all that matters though.

What I want to know is how many steals & how many walks we had during this contest. Did we just rely on our power to beat this guy in the ground or did our guys play ul baseball & attack the base paths? If we didn't attack the base paths then I want to know why not.

We were aggressive... stealing, bunting for hits... hit and runs... same stuff we've done all year.

Just didn't get that one hit we needed. Except once, when we ran ourselves out of an inning. But that's who we are, and I wouldn't change the approach that got us 53 wins.
