Congratulations JSU! That starting pitcher pitched a gem of a game. Our power strokers got their asses handed to them. Hats off to Austin. You can't do a whole lot better than he did. We never adjusted at the plate. You can't lift that kind of pitch, with an adjusted 75% bat swing speed, up into anything but a mid field fly out. Excellent job by JSU. You either knew that our cocky knockers would do that, or you knew our coach wouldn't think to adjust. Either way... huge congratulations to Jackson State!

To my Cajuns... good luck in the elimination loser's bracket. Wow... didn't think I'd have to say that... "Loser's bracket". Friday night and heading to the Loser's Bracket. That will make the news. I don't understand how this happened. We needed a few more of our better batters for this first game, instead of saving them for later.

UL Defense/pitching was actually very good. One phase of game failed us. Clutch hitting was a complete no show.
