Getting caught on a pitch out was the key to not scoring in the top of the eighth.

Sending Trahan on that steal attempt was stupid. The catcher signaled the pitch out for everyone to see right after the last pitch when he saw Trahan run. He pointed and telegraphed it. That totally jacked up that inning!
