I honestly think that she can do it, I know she had her struggles, but she was throwing strikes in Lamson against TSU. They were called balls, but I was sitting right behind the center field camera man and he was laughing at how bad the zone was.
As good as Hamilton is, Wallace is just as good. They are completely different pitchers. Hamilton is like Greg Maddox and Wallace is like John Smotlz.
We did not play well enough to win.....3 errors cost at least 2 runs.....different mentality going into the last 2 innings if we are only down by 1......turn it loose on Saturdays.....Geaux Cajuns
Mount Everest would be easier to climb...
UK's pitcher did a super job. We were really off balance on our swings. A couple of great plays in the field; three not so good. Overall, Hamilton did ok - no bat support and her defense let her down some. Tough road now but this is a tough group. Ready for Saturday. Now for baseball. And a nerve pill or drink or smoke or something.
Was that the pitcher's dad they kept showing??? That was sickening!
I ventured over to a NCAA Softball forum (cant remember which one) and an Arizona poster stated that the unique batting technique that acoach Lotief teaches leaves the batters vulnerable to an outside curve ball.
Did the pitcher tonight for Kentucky have a different pitch than the girls have seen so far this season?
Is there any truth to this statement about the girls not being able to hit a pitch that moves away from them?
A few Cajun hitters have power "the other way" so I dont see why an outside curve ball should shut us down like that.
1 hit is not going to win any games in OKC.
