MAKE IT HAPPEN LADIES !!!!!
By the way, they are not the "Lady Cajuns." They are the "Ragin' Cajuns."
are we the home team tonight or visitors? i know we are the higher seed, but that slot was for the 3 seed that 14kentucky took, so are they the home team tonight.
i would rather bat 1st and start out like we did against zona on saturday
With the wave of momentum that we have been riding we need to win the whole damn thing!
Female athletes at UL have not been Lady Cajuns for a long time. There were a lot of good reasons to change (gender equity, branding, trademarks, media consistency, solidarity) and really no reason to keep it.
Grammar-wise, the use of "lady" as an adjective is generally negative because it becomes a qualifer (ex. That lady doctor doesn't know what she is talking about.). The singular noun can also be negative depending on the context.
The plural noun refers to the female gender in a general way, without qualification. Therefore, a statement like "Bring home a national championship, ladies!" should be well received.
